King Felipe made a quick visit to Costa Rica earlier this month to attend the inauguration of President Rodrigo Chaves Robles.
The King met with the incoming and outgoing presidents and hosted a reception with Spaniards living and working in Costa Rica.
King Felipe was also in Portugal for a meeting of the COTEC Foundation for innovation with Portuguese President Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa and Italian president Sergio Mattarella.
His Majesty held a meeting with Argentine President Alberto Fernández at Zarzuela Palace last week during his European tour.
On Tuesday, King Felipe and Queen Letizia will welcome the emir of Qatar for a state visit.
