King Felipe and Queen Letizia last week celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary after a rocky year.
The Spanish Royal Household released a group of photos of the King and Queen and their daughters, Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofia. They were taken in the gardens of the Madrid Royal Palace.
Focused on doing damage to the Crown, the Queen’s former brother in law resurfaced claims on social media of an affair with her years ago. The Royal Household has publicly ignored the issue.
King Felipe and Queen Letizia just finished several days of travel to the Netherlands for a state visit with King Willem-Alexander, Queen Maxima and Princess Catharina-Amalia.
Members of both royal families are close and displayed those ties during three days of events, tours and meetings.
Also participating in a dinner at the Amsterdam Royal Palace was former queen, Princess Beatrix, and her sister Margaret.

According to tradition, the Queen and Queen are given an official sendoff at the Madrid Terminal of State before beginning their trip.

Queen Sofia was rushed to the hospital in Madrid earlier this week with what media outlets describe as a urinary tract infection.
King Felipe’s mother, 85, has been at several public events in recent weeks. She’s at the Ruber Internacional Hospital not far from her home at Zarzuela Palace.

Queen Sofia is known for healthy eating and athleticism, and has generally been in good health. Her sister, Princess Irene, is said to be in more delicate health.
Members of the Spanish Royal Family broke with tradition again this year by not attending Easter services in Mallorca as they used to do.
The last time it happened was in 2019, a year after Queen Letiza showed displeasure with Queen Sofia for reportedly not following a plan for exiting the Palma Cathedral.
The incident generated international headlines and added to Queen Letizia’s apparent desire to not spend most of her vacations in the Balearic Islands.

And Queen Sofia and Princess Irene, fans of vacationing in Mallorca, led a benefit concert there earlier last week.

The next time we may see King Felipe and Queen Letizia in Mallorca may be during the summer.

Services this week at Windsor Castle in the United Kingdom honoring the late Greek King Constantine, Queen Sofia’s brother, reunited members of the Spanish Royal Family.
It was the first time King Felipe has been seen in public together with his father King Juan Carlos. Queen Letizia and Queen Sofia were also there.
Queen Letizia was also seen holding King Felipe’s arm amid rumors about trouble in their marriage. And Queen Letizia was seen chatting with King Juan Carlos. Commentators say the two dislike each other, and that King Juan Carlos has been working to sabotage his son’s marriage.
King Felipe and Queen Letizia hosted Guatemalan President Bernardo Arévalo and his wife Lucrecia Peinado for lunch at the Madrid Royal Palace Thursday.
His Majesty also hosted Arévalo for a meeting at the Zaruzela Royal Palace during his official visit to Spain.

Beyond official business, the lunch was notable because the King and Queen were seen chatting and smiling. Commentators have spent months wondering about the state of their marriage.
The King in recent days visited NATO headquarters in Brussels.
Another high-profile meeting involved Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, who visited the King at Zarzuela.
King Felipe has also accepted credentials for numerous new ambassadors to Spain in ceremonies at the Madid Royal Palace.
