Queen Sofia spent two days in Washington for a meeting on Spain’s centuries old relationship with the United States.
Her Majesty attended events at the Daughters of the American Revolution’s Constitution Hall just blocks from the White House. The Queen Sofia Spanish Institute helped organize the historical symposium.
During her time in the U.S., Queen Sofia held a reception at the Spanish ambassador’s residence for Washington-area Spaniards.
