King Felipe, Queen Letizia and other members of the Spanish Royal Family spent time in Mallorca during the start of their August vacations.
Mallorca — and the Marivent Palace in Palma — have for decades been a favorite spot for Queen Sofia. The same cannot be said for Queen Letizia, but she has continued spending at least some time on the island.
Activities included a reception for Balearic Island leaders and civil society, the King’s Cup sailing tournament and a meeting with Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez at Marivent.

King Felipe and Queen Letizia then took private vacations in Greece, media outlets reported. They may have spent time in a property owned by King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands.
